Eavesdropping In Oberammeragau

Eavesdropping in Oberammergau tells the story of Allison, the daughter of a Jewish American officer stationed in Oberammergau Germany, three years after the Holocaust and describes the village's contribution to Nazi hatred of the Jewish people despite its fame for the holy Passion Play, performed every ten years since 1634.

The emphasis was to feature a photo of German landscape that was very near and dear to the author in telling her story. Therefore the title was to take as little space as possible.
